Dr. Webb Parker is Assistant Professor of Music Education at The University of Southern Mississippi where he teaches course in choral music education. Prior to his appointment at USM, Dr. Parker was a graduate teaching fellow in music education and choral conducting at the University of Oregon where he received his PhD in Choral Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting. Dr. Parker also holds degrees in church music and voice from Samford University and music education from the University of Alabama.
Active as a clinician, conductor, and adjudicator, Dr. Parker has traveled throughout the South and Pacific Northwest presenting at workshops, choral clinics, and honor choirs. Also an active researcher, Dr. Parker regularly shares his research at national and international conferences. Outside of music making, Dr. Parker is an avid college football fan! SMTTT!
